Three Fold Farm now offers our own, in-house collection, semen processing, shipping and insemination services. Outside mares and stallions are welcome to come in for services. Please contact us for more information.
At Three Fold Farm, we have moved to ground collecting stallions instead of using a phantom or doing live cover. There are several compelling reasons for this... First and foremost, safety for the horses and people! Ground collecting is a much more controlled process with no rough-housing of mares or kicking of stallions. Because all four feet of the stallion are on the ground in a contained area, the process is safer for the handlers. It is also less wear and tear on the stallion, particularly older studs that may suffer from injury, arthritis, etc. And... no need for an expensive phantom!
